When so much death and suffering was caused by the unworthy few
Who flew the planes into the Twin Towers in New York City twenty years ago
Something that has changed the course of human history or it would seem so
Where so many good people died in the foulest way
And those who did survive are suffering today
Because of these terrible acts by a few evil men
So many good people have died in wars since then
Since September the eleventh two thousand and one many Seasons in time have gone
But the memory of that black day for humanity lives on
When New York was attacked and dreams were destroyed
And close to three thousand people in the foulest way died
The pilots of the Twin Towers mass murders unworthy of mention by name
Only brought on themselves and their families shame.
