At Sting Ray Bay

The white waves splash on the beach at Sting Ray Bay
On a Sunday afternoon in September a blustery day
The wildness of Winter linger to the Spring
For the time of year not an unusual thing
A sight of natural beauty only true to say
In the deeper waters gannets diving for prey
To catch small saltwater fish from a great height they dive
In Nature all creatures have their own ways to survive
My worth as a writer i feel reason to doubt
But everyday in Nature something to write about
The silver gulls eating sea lice on the kelp on the shore
There must be one hundred of them there or more
The sun in the grey clouds is hidden away
On a blustery afternoon at Sting Ray Bay.
