The fear of failure to many people is an understandable fear
Some they were in school with know of material success
And with their lifestyle many impressionable people of the town do impress
But those who drive to and from work in a second hand car
On the ladder of success have not climbed far
And for their children's birthdays can only afford a very cheap toy
But then as is said of comparison it is the thief of joy
In a World where people every day for success do compete
None wish to be known as the poorest on their street
The accumulation of money always seems to lead to success and fame
And only the wealthy are known to many by name
In a Human World where many compete for success every day
The losers are many in truth one can say.
