Wisdom

The wise are not many as we have been told

Few do grow wise though all do grow old

Though they have been living for decades of years

Not many wise old blokes or old dears

That wisdom does not have an age to it happens to be true

I have known a few wise young people for to give them their due

The wise of the World as they ever were are rare today

This is how it is and will always be this way

Far more knowledgeable than wise people is how it seems to be

The wise of the World always a minority

A poorly educated person in other ways can be quite wise

Wisdom and knowledge are different as most would realize

Wisdom is a wonderful gift of the few

And this is not saying anything that is new.
