That soon they are due for a horrible surprise
Their short life for them will soon come to an end
To be sold by the farmer to be slaughtered their untrustworthy friend
Little realizing that death from them is not far away
Chewing their cuds on the lush grass contented they do lay
Fat and healthy from eating nutritious young grass in their physical prime
They are lucky not to realize they are running out of time
Their days are numbered for them sad to say
But they seem contented and happy today
Animals do not have a concept of death it is obviously clear
And they are far better off not knowing that their end it is near
Most cattle are only value for their meat
And sold by the farmers at a financial profit for us meat eaters to eat
But unlike us humans they do not have a concept of death which is obviously clear
And they are lucky they do not realize that their end to them is near.
