And the future to everyone a mystery
We can only live in the now in truth one can say
The now is all that matters and the now is today
We are born to mortality why otherwise pretend
And life's journey for all of us comes to an end
That death treats people as equal is not a lie
And the longer you live the sooner you will die
The now is what matters is how it seems to be
Though many with this would surely disagree
Suppose we all look at life in our own ways differently
And what is true to you may not be so to me
But despite what many may think or may say
The now is what matters and the now is today.
