The Sun shining warm in the mostly blue sky
On the countryside looking so bare, brown and dry
So warm for March close to thirty degrees
And for Autumn few brown leaves as of yet on the deciduous trees
Farm dams low in water and bone dry every drain
And the farmers and the gardeners of the Moyne Shire are hoping for rain
And doubtless rain would bring life to the dry countryside
But how the weather will be Nature will decide
Not much grass for animals in the paddocks today
The farmers feeding their sheep and their cattle on hay
On this day very warm for the time of year
The flute like songs of the magpies so pleasant to hear
Two days ago it was windy and quite cool the weather of late acting strange
The reason for this may well be Climate Change.
