That Greed Is Addictive

That greed is addictive only true to say
The millionaire dreams of becoming a billionaire one day
The demon greed many in life does pursue
That much always craves more happens to be true

The gap ever growing in the social divide
In every village, town and city Worldwide
The wealthy getting wealthier is how it seems to be
Whilst many so many live in dire poverty

In the Human World survival of the fittest is how it does seem
And the poor do not have any public esteem
In a fair Human World it wouold not be this way
But this is how it is and is likely to stay

For as long as human beings on this Planet Earth live
There will be some only willing to receive and in return nothing give
Greed is an addiction that becomes out of control
And on the higher human feelings does take it's toll

On saying that the greedy of humanity are no longer few
Is not saying anything that is in any way new
And for every new millionaire more in poverty
This is how it is and it always will be.
