On Australian Little Ravens

The Australian little raven or the pale eyed crow
They are birds i see often though of their ways little know
When uttering their long drawn out caws their long throat feathers slighly stick out
That they are Nature's survi9vors there can be little doubt
Their nest of sticks on higher branch of tree
From the ground is never that hard for to see
Three to six bown dotted eggs the female bird lay
From their nesting territory hawks and falcons they mob and chase away
They are clever birds to eat i have seen them dip hard crusts of bread on the shallows water at the verge of a lake
For birds a lot of intelligence something like this does take
In south eastern Australia quite a common sight
They can look attractive in their glossy black featehrs when seen in the sunlight
Not the favourite birds of bird watchers and ornithologists since they can be seen every day
But they are Nature's survivors of them one can say.
