There Are Winners And Losers

There are winners and losers in the World every day
It is all about winning and will always be this way
Of the losers not good enough many do say
And for every winner a lusty hooray
Not surprising then anyone does not like to lose
Since in life as in sport winning most people does choose
Many of those who admire the wealthy people of the town
On every poor person are known to look down
Few wish to know of the children of the lesser gods
They are left on their own for to battle the odds
Though to be poor or with little money should never be a sin
With the odds stacked against you it is hard for to win
But only for the winner the plaudits are loud
And the winner has won the right for to feel proud.
