You Too Will Die

The present in the seeds of the past was sown
And the future as is said remains an unknown
And tomorrow will dawn as it did today
But not for everyone in truth one can say
With your talents your millions of fans you well may impress
But your life is the greatest gift you do possess
Which makes you no greater than the strangers to renown
The poorest of the poor on the poor side of the town
It is hard to stay humble when you know of wealth and fame
When to millions of people your's is a known name
Immortality for human beings is based on a lie
For like all air breathing creatures we are born to die
Live every day as if it is your last and one day you will be right
For you too will die as sure as day follows night.
