The Heroes To Many

Far beyond their home towns and their home countryside
The heroes to many are known far and wide
But the hero to many is not everyone's hero in truth one can say
Everyone does not love you life works in this way
Many may look up to you as somebody great
As a name they do feel they ought to celebrate
And of singing your praises never seem to tire
But like all other celebrities you are one that everyone does not admire
Though you are admired as a celebrity happens to be true
Not everybody does admire you
The words of a wise one worthy of recall
You may well win many but you will not win them all
The hero to many is not a hero to everyone
Life works in this way when all is said and done.
