They Are Poor Of Mind

Though money speaks every language in truth one can say
And never more so than in the Human World of today
The way you treat others says more about you
Than your money or achievements could ever hope to do
They are poor of mind some of the wealthy of the town
Who on their climb to financial success have dragged others down
As people as such them one cannot compare
With the honest and kind who nowadays do seem rare
Of compassionate and generous people of a few of i do know
And my admiration for them and their sort only does seem to grow
Yet they are treated as the voices in the wilderness in the Human World of today
For them there is never a loud hip hooray
Sadly we live in an age where celebrities and the very wealthy only does count
And where generosity and kindness to little does amount.
