To live as a good person is all i wish to be
And help anyone who does need help from me
Each day brings me closer to my life's journey's end
I am at a time of life when i need every friend
I want to go into old age with others in peace and harmony
Of any sort of angst i just wish to be free
I feel no desire for to harm anyone in any way
I have matured in thinking as i age one might say
Life goes by quickly and time ticks on fast
At the stroke of midnight today will be of the past
We learn as we live does seem ever true
And always pay respect to where it is due
We ought to learn from our mistakes of long ago
Be true to your friends and forgive every foe.
