Were i born a poet a poem i would write
For lovers of natural beauty to enjoy and read and recite
Of the beauty that Nature does have to display
That we should feel so privileged for to see every day
In the clear pool of the river when Spring is in her prime
A sight of natural beauty to live in the memory for decades of time
Enjoying the warmth of the sun slowly swimming about
Their speckled skins gleaming the brown river trout
Such beauty in Nature to view that is monetary free
That we should feel so very privileged to see
The one whose beauty the artists and writers inspire
And of singing her praises one never could tire
The beauty in Nature everywhere around me
A beautiful crimson rosella softly piping on a sunlit tree
The works of the best artists and writers we may highly rate
But Nature far greater beauty than they do create
The natural beauty in Nature's wildflowers
That have burst to bloom after recent Spring showers
The beauty in Nature we do see every day
She does not have an equal of her one can say.
