A wet day in Koroit in the early Spring
In the botanical gardens the blackbirds on song
Among Nature's finest songsters they do belong
Yesterday nice and warm it was twenty two degrees
With a nice sort of freshness in the coastal breeze
In September the weather can be quick to change
Nature in her moods can often seem strange
The Town of Koroit is not busy today
The rain and the wind keep the shoppers away
From the old coastal Town in the Moyne countryside
With strong links to history that is known far and wide
On a wet September morning in Koroit so pleasant to hear
The warbling of the magpies the birds who sing every day of the year.
