Not A Fair Go For All

Wise words of the past well worthy of recall
A fair go for some is not a fair go for all
Since a fair go for all to all never seems to apply
Even in the most democratic of Countries due to discrimination a fair go of some the racists deny

Racism and discrimination and xenophobia in the Human World are rife
And these three combined make for a cheapening of human life
In the age of science and technology injustice and unfairness due to racism remain
That in an age of enlightenment this should be seems hard to explain

The Stateless the hungry, the homeless and the millions living rough
So many poor people they are doing it tough
In a Human World where to be poor is treated as a minor crime
No such a thing as a fair go for all even in this enlightened time

Wise words of the past that remain relevant today
Some things never change it does seem this way
In this twenty first century it seems hard to deny
That a fair go to everyone to everyone does not apply.
