In Changeable October

Yesterday it was warm around thirty degrees
And warmth in the sunshine and warmth in the breeze
Today showery and much cooler and the sun seldom out
In changeable October in the coastal south
The park lands quite green after the recent rain
With such Spring like weather one ought not to complain
In some places far north it has not rained for a year
Sad stories of poor farmers of the drought stricken lands we only read of and hear
Lots of sun and rain the good earth always need
In this respect people of the coastal south are quite lucky indeed
By the weather forecast more nice weather is near
Tomorrow is supposed to be sunny and clear
In the coastal south a showery and windy day
And the sun in the grey sky often hidden away.
