He was One who could never run fast like the great Usain Bolt
But the former politician and Liberal Party leader Andrew Peacock was nicknamed the Kooyong Colt
For many years locked in a political struggle with the former Australian Prime Minister John Howard for power and for fame
But I cannot say why or how he did come by his nickname
When he parted ways with his wife Susan he took up with the American writer and actress Shirley Maclaine
The meaning in birds of a feather flock together as a truism remain
In human relationships it is a rare thing indeed a love affair between a wealthy celebrity
And a poor homeless person living in dire poverty
Andrew Peacock like most in the Liberal Party was never a poor person's friend
But to his due this is something he never does feign to pretend
That most of very wealthy people in positions of power with poor people cannot empathise
Is something not hard to understand one does come to realize
Nicknamed the Kooyong Colt he is ageing today
A former Liberal Party leader and political powerbroker of him one can say.
