To any man Sue never was a wife
And she does not have children of her own to talk of in her life
But in her years as a nursing sister she had so much love to give
And many of her ex patients with fondness will remember her for as long as they live
In her early seventies she has seen many Seasons come and go
She retired from nursing some five years ago
But as a member of the town's pro poor group she performs god deeds every day
And to help anyone in need of helping goes out of her way
A person well liked by those of her who know
She lives with the company of her border collie Joe in her bungalow
Quite an attractive woman her hair silver grey
A beautiful person in her own gentle way
There is so much to like in Compassionate Sue
To her higher self she remains ever true
She surely is one worthy of far greater public note
Since on the helping of others so much of her time she devote.
