Though The Morning Was Windy

Though the morning was windy and raining and grey
It has turned out to be quite a nice day
The sun shining bright in the mostly blue sky
And the afternoon though a bit blustery is dry
The magpies are warbling on the sunlit trees
And the songs of the blackbirds carrying in the breeze
That is blowing in the park from the saltwater bay
Weatherwise things could be a lot worse in truth one can say
The parks looking lush and green after the rain
With such healthy October weather seems hard to complain
And among the green beauty the yellow cape flowers
Have burst into bloom in the sunshine and showers
And everywhere I turn to look I do see
The beauty in Nature everywhere around me.
