Of Spending Taxpayers Money

On spending taxpayers money on promotion of self there is nothing of to feel proud
That is of political advantage to the incumbent government should not be allowed
Politicians should not be furthering their political careers at the taxpayers expense
That they pay for their own self promoting should make for better public financial sense
Government members have all the political and financial advantages on their side
That the government has a huge financial advantage over their political opponents cannot be denied
Yet for their financial and political advantage it is the taxpayers always pay
In a fair political system it would not be this way
Being in government is quite a substantial advantage indeed
And of taxpayers assistance governments should not be in need
Power does beget power as the wise one does say
And incumbency in government in their re-election a huge part does play
Governments of taxpayers assistance of are not in need
Incumbency of power in politics a huge advantage indeed.
