Many of the future generations of people will not have nice things to say
Since for our sins against Mother Earth the price they may pay
In famines due to Earth damage by us life can work on this way
When me and people of my generation back to Earth have long gone
Life on this Planet that feeds us will surely go on
But from damage by twenty and twenty first century human beings the Earth to recover from it will be slow
This is something that many of are coming to know
Less wildlife for future generations of people to see
A sad thing to contemplate is how it seems to be
By future generations the admired of today will be looked on as the environmental criminals of the past
Due to Global Warming as a result of human greed the climate is changing fast
The Earth that does feed us of more friends is in need
And it seems sad to think that future generations may suffer because of our greed.
