On Long Billed Corellas

Within their range birds one often does see
White members of the cockatoo family
With long hooked thin bill and red feathers on  their face
Mostly non migratory they live their lives in one place
Often kept in aviaries they are not hard birds to tame
Long billed corella is their common name
The female lay white eggs of two or three
In cavity high in trunk of old growth tree
In flocks in large numbers they do abound
Often seen searching for bulbs and seeds and roots on the ground
To town parks and grain crops damage often by them done
And because of  this some enemies for themselves they have won
High on the trees in large flocks quite noisy before roosting at night
Within their range they are a common sight.
