Due To Our Environmental Practices

The Earth that does feed us all with other creatures we are supposed to share

But due to our environmental practices many species of wildlife are becoming rare

Due to human greed for money more trees for removal being cut down

To make way for more buildings on the outskirts of every city and town

And due to this wildlife of their natural habitat are losing out

That this is a cause of their decrease in numbers there can be little doubt

In time we may not be distant from the first silent Spring

And this to contemplate on is a very sad thing

Future generations of Australians may not be privileged to see

A koala eating leaves on a manna gum tree

And further north in the Arctic the great white ice bear

With each passing Season becoming more rare

Due to human created Global Warming and the removal of trees

We are responsible for the decline in wildlife number in varying degrees.
