Children to their feelings more so than adults are true
Young Belinda loves her white rabbit Sue
When she leaves her out of her cage she never leaves her out of her sight
And she keeps her indoors and safe from danger at night
Last year she grieved for her black rabbit Bill
That the big ginger moggy next door did kill
The cat knows that he is permanently barred
From ever again entering her yard
Six months ago Sue was a present for her seventh birthday from her mum and her dad
She says the best present she has ever had
She grieved for her pet Bill who had a violent premature end
And every evening she hurries from school to play with her new furry friend
Such is the love of Belinda for Sue
Children than adults to their feelings more true.
