Iceland a nice Country to live in i have read of and been told
And Icelandic people are generally happy and live to grow old
To live there for most of the year it would be quite cold
But in Spring and Summer great natural beauty there for to behold
That Iceland does not have much native fauna does seem hard to understand
Apart from the Arctic fox most of it's fauna has been introduced to the far northern Land
But from internet images of it in Summer it's landscape has a beauty that is rare
A natural beauty that with anywhere can favourably compare
As time on my side and money are no longer with me
Perhaps Iceland i never will visit to see
And that with money speaks every language one has to agree
We can only daydream of for us what might be
But if Iceland is a destination in your travel plan
Even in Summer there you will not get a suntan.
