True kindness does have it's source in empathy
There is more to living than for the me
Though many with this may not choose to agree
Karma will reward you for the good things for others you do
As a person your generosity of spirit says more about you
Than the good things you do for yourself does one need to explain
That when you help one in need of helping satisfaction is your gain
The praises of generosity feel happy to sing
A sense of satisfaction for the giver can be a joyful thing
For to live as a good person you must give to receive
This is something that should not be hard to believe
To take and take for your own benefit and in return nothing give
For anyone is not a good way to live.
