Like the people who march in the anti war parade
Of them sad to say heroes are never made
Yet if everyone were like them there would not be wars to fight
Though patriots dismiss them as of the not right
By nationalists and patriots of anti war people nice things never said
They dismiss as traitors those who do not honour the war dead
The war supposed to end all wars ended a century ago
And the enemy back then is no longer the foe
But more wars are being fought in the World every day
If everyone were an anti war person it would not be this way
For them The Last Post will never be played
But with them in the World hopes for peace does not fade
In wars only wrong and nothing that is right
But if everyone were anti war there would not be wars to fight.
