Had He Lived In The Now

Live in the now and the now is today

Tomorrow will dawn and time does tick away

The future ahead and the past a memory

Of what was for you in the what used to be

To time our master we eventually must bow

And the now is all that does matter for we live in the now

Can anyone say what tomorrow for them will bring

In life there is no such as a certain thing

This morning he woke for to greet a new day

But as he drove to work along the highway

Overtaking a slow car with an oncoming truck he did collide

And in his squashed car he instantly died

He was daydreaming of wealth and fame in the years ahead

Had he lived in the now he may not be dead.
