December By Mushera

The sun behind the grey clouds is hidden away
And may not shine on Mushera and the high fields around it today
The chill winds of December is soughing in the trees
On a weather temperature high for the day of just over zero degrees
The songs of the birds one never does hear
by Mushera Mountain on this bleak time of year
On the high Butter Road above Millstreet Town
Few cars and trucks being driven up and down
That winds along by Mushera of the high countryside
In Summer driven on by tourists from Lands Worldwide
In Spring, Summer and early Autumn by Mushera great natural beauty to view
For it's breathtaking scenery it's equals are few
But from November to April the sky often grey
And very little sunshine until early May.
