An over-inflated sense of self esteem
Not good for the ego or so it does seem
It is self love gone wrong is how it seems to me
Though many with this i am sure would not agree
If admiration you think is your due
Then leave it to others for to admire you
On being a self admirer you are not one of a few
This is not saying anything that is in any way that is new
If the need of admiration in life is your thing
Just leave it to others your praises to sing
That self praise is no praise only true to say
But you are one who does not see it this way
Every-day people like you i do meet
There are a few living on every street.
