Lucky The Man

Lucky the man content in his own skin
Who does not have in him this great desire to always win
And does not treat failure as a loss of face
And win with humility and lose with grace

And live life without yearning for wealth and for fame
And treat criticism and praise as the same
And live in his own way and do his own thing
And leave it to others their praises to sing

But sadly it is not saying anything that is new
That his sort in the World nowadays are quite few
Most males of praise and money crave more than their share
The down to earth males have become rather rare

Lucky the man who happen to believe
That to life he is born to give to receive
And is always quite willing to plant Karma's good seed
By helping anyone of his help in need

In some males their egos are out of control
Which is not very good for the health of the soul
The numbers of egotistical males only true to say
Are on the increase in the Human World of today

Lucky the man who do not crave wealth and renown
The ordinary bloke of his side of the town
From life all he wishes for is some happiness
The great gift of humility he does possess.
