Intermittent sunshine in a sky blue and grey
And the magpies are warbling in Port Fairy today
The weather not too warm or too cool around eighteen degrees
With a nice feeling of freshness in the coastal breeze
Blowing in the town from the ocean nearby
To describe Nature's beauty in words their best one can only try
On pursuit of flying insects chirping as they fly
The dark swallows above the green parkland in the evening sky
December in Port Fairy can be a nice time of year
Towards the end of the old year and Christmas quite near
One of it's great claims to Worldwide renown
Is it has been voted the World's most liveavable small town
It can be said Earthly Utopia cannot be far away
