The great gift of laughter is such a wonderful thing
As joy to the mind it always does bring
The people who laugh often have a great gift indeed
Since of happiness they do keep planting the seed
The one who is sad faced and always feeling down
Is never among the best loved of the town

And this is not saying anything that is new
When you are out walking in the the park or on the street
The happy person always nice for to meet
Their carefree sort of laughter a beautiful sound
They carry joy with them and share it around
Those who laugh often are nice people of to know
