Addicted to rhyming for so many years
But for my addiction why should i shed tears
Since it is something i love doing and an addiction that is not a crime
I am one of those people who just loves penning rhyme
It is something i have been doing since my physical prime
And though my wrting efforts may not live on in time
As a rhymer i hope to live out my life span
And hopefully die without pain as a very old man
It was my love of rhyme made a rhymer of me
I wrote my first rhymes in nineteen seventy three
When i was twenty seven forty six years ago
And since time that rusts iron has become my foe
I hope to be rhyming until the day i do die
If i did tell you differently this would be a lie.
