As a boy he daydreamed of exotic places elsewhere
So in his late teens he went to see life in the big World out there
But nostalgia for what was had him feeling down
And now he feels happy for to be back in his hometown
He is back home this time for the long stay
Twelve months from the hometown for him seemed a long time away
Back again with the great love of his life
The young woman next Spring who will become his wife
He will never more see a foreign sunrise
He had to leave home for to realize
That he is not one of the wandering kind
For travelling he no longer does feel inclined
Back with his true love, friends and family
In life this is where he is meant to be.
