In the mostly blue sunny sky just a few clouds of grey
For the coastal Moyne Shire such a beautiful December Day
Thirteen days from Christmas such a nice time of year
The warbling of the magpies so pleasant to hear
Summer has arrived to the far coastal south
Above the sunlit gardens white butterflies flitting about
The coastal countryside lush and green after the recent showers
And the lush green paddocks resplendent in their Summer flowers
The warm air full of the buzzing of bush flies and bees
With a forecast high for the day of twenty four degrees
The young birds are chirping on bushes and trees
And blowing in the cool freshness of a coastal breeze
The pleasant aroma of mowed grass for silage or hay
On what is a beautiful December day.
