One Can Say On Yourself

 One can say on yourself you are rather tough

When you believe that you are not quite good enough

Since of your worth as a person the town's judgmental you fail to impress

You are not their idea of what constitutes success

You do not own your own home or drive an expensive car

And on the success ladder you have not climbed far 

You worry too much of what others think of you

If you only wish to impress others to your higher self you cannot be true

You should be more like your friend who does his own thing

And cares not if his praisess others never sing

To his higher self he is one who lives near

Since of the opinions of others he never does fear

You are being hard on yourself in your own way

Since you worry too much of what others of you say.
