Of trustworthy politicians only a few
And this is not saying anything that is new
In parliament many of them do lie every day
And to be untrustworthy for them seems to pay
Few politicians to an honest question give an honest reply
And many of them quite often the truth do deny
Their own party they praise and their opposition members criticize
And some of them even believe their own lies
When politicians lose their parliamentary seat or retire from parliament on their big pension they do rather well
They will never know of life in financial hell
It can be said of politicians that they are well known
Not for taking care of the poor people of the Country but for themselselves and their own
Friends and families and for themselves do financially okay
And most of them by good example never lead the way.
