Joy to the soul of the mind it does bring
Love in it's truest form is a beautiful thing
Yet so many loves a lifetime does not last
And often the love quickest to bloom does fade rather fast
The words of a wise one are worthy of recall
It is better to know of love and love's disappointment than never know of love at all
There are winners and losers in love every day
Like most other things in life it works in this way
Unconditional love between human beings is mostly based on a lie
And there can be grief and disappointment when love it does die
For a better World to live in more love between people we need
For to happiness and peace love can be the seed
But love the inspiration of the writers of song, story and rhyme
Between only a few does last a lifetime.
