Sad news like good news travels far and wide
The recent news out of Gortavehy in the Boggeragh mountains countryside
Is Kathleen O' Sullivan nee Looney from Annagloor where she first saw light of day
Recently from life has passed away
Married to the late Bob O' Sullivan for more than fifty years of her life
To their children a good mother and to Bob a good wife
She left Annagloor to live in Gortavehy when in her life's prime
And she made many friends over decades of time
In St Mary's in Millstreet her last remains lay
For all of us there is a last night and day
Sadly never more to be seen in the flesh again
But in all who did know her good memories of her will remain
Hope her parting from life for her was a painless release
The beautiful Kathleen she now is at peace.
