The More We Do Learn

Few people short listed for a Nobel Prize
And all people grow older but few do grow wise
But we should never stop learning until the day we do die
Those who think they know it all believe their own lie
Einstein was not the top pupil in his classroom in the primary school
But he turned out to be nobody's fool
A man who has been sketched by artists and honoured in story and song
Among humanity's great thinkers he does belong
Those who like to profess their knowledge one can only believe
Are usually not good at listening and knowledge can be slow to receive
We learn from listening to others of their lives experiences every day
That we never stop learning in truth one can say
And the more we do learn the more we come to realize
That we do know so little this not a surprise.
