There is not that much of a difference between the poor and the wealthy
Since life does end for everyone some day
And it is true death does make all people equal
There is no status where dead people lay
We return to the very Earth that feeds us
On our lives Life's Reaper has the final say
Does not matter if your body is cremated
Or in a cemetery buried and left to naturally decay
The adoring masses put people on pedestals
But death to all equality does bring
Death that is feared Worldwide by so many
Is after all in truth not a bad thing
We admire people for their material possession
And verbally condemn those who lack in financial gain
But why we fear death the one who treats everyone as an equal
Is beyond a mortal like me to explain
Only in life there is inequality
But death brings inequality to an end
And is the one most of the living live in fear of
And is not considered by anyone as a friend.
