Most people are prisoners of their own mind
And free thinkers are of the endangered kind
A truly free person i have yet to meet
And i am one who has walked on many a street
I know and i know of people who seem carefree
But they are not what others make them out to be
The smiling face of contentment may tell
But as a cover for hidden worries it can serve one quite well
Of financial problems money will set you free
With this most people would surely agree
And though the praises of money the masses may sing
True happiness to anyone it does not bring
What defines freedom ask one other than me
Since i am one who cannot say i am free.
