Before The Baby Does Walk

Before the baby does walk the baby does crawl
And the baby does rise again after a fall
And long before children into adults do grow
Of the ups and downs of life they do come to know
And the seeds for the existence of the children of the future by them will be sown
When they will help to give life to and raise children of their own
But for the future young women and men
What will the World be like for to live in then
With less wildlife to view and less birds for to sing
As time ticks on closer to the silent Spring
Some price to be paid for twenty first century human success
Of  poverty more and of prosperity less
And whatever we achieve in life it is not a lie
That we are born for to eventually die.
