To carry on the seed of his breed a chosen one
As black as a crow he makes for a formidable sight
800 kilograms of muscle and might
His black progeny on the nourishing milk of their black mothers gaining weight by the day
The big price the farmer paid for his prize bull the price he will receive for his calves him will more than repay
Next year at a profit his breeding bull he will sell
And from his financial investment he will have done well
That some of his progeny are show prize winners the big bull is not aware
With enough of nutritious young grass for to eat he does not have a care
Due to his bull and the bull's progeny the farmer has become well known
His reputation as a shrewd judge of breeding cattle among beef farmers has steadily grown
As for his fame the big black beast does not seem the least bit aware
Sitting and chewing his cud he does not seem to have a care.
