Better known as Breeda in Plymouth in England her life's journey came to an end
In Ballydaly she did not live her last night and day
On her seventy seventh year from life she passed away
Far beyond Duhallow's green old countryside
The Murphy family of Ballydaly are known and respected far and wide
Breeda's life journey took her to England Hibernia's sister shore
From Ballydaly with views of high and green Claramore
The great gift of life from her may have gone
But good memories of her in Ballydaly will live on
One who in Ballydaly did not choose to stay
From there her life's journey for her ended far away
Life's Reaper on our lives has the final say
For all of us there is a last night and day.
