In Kilcummin near Killarney as Tim McCarthy's wife
Maureen born as an O'Sullivan of Feirm near Ballydaly lived for the most of her life
She was a nice person in her own kind way
In Kilcummin cemetery her last remains forever do lay
Survived by her husband and children and grandchildren she was a nice person of to know
One can say of her she had the bright inner glow
She died in her late sixties or very early seventies not that old in years
And her passing from life did not go without tears
All who knew and knew of her good memories of her will retain
In life her loss to Ballydaly became Kilcummin's gain
So sad to learn that she has lived her last night and day
She lived as an honourable person of her one can say
Sadly missed by her family and many a friend
Her journey in life it has come to an end.
