In The Wrath Of Nature

The weather of late has been acting so strange
But then we are in the age of Climate Change
From the big World out there stories of big fires and storms and flooding and drought
Of vast changes in Worldwide weather patterns there can be little doubt

More stories of natural catastrophes in the news every day
Suppose for human created carbon emissions this the price we must pay
We do not treat the Earth Mother who feeds us in a respectful way
And in the anger of Nature us humans a big part does play

In engineering, maths, chemistry, science and technology human achievements have not been small
But in our natural environmental practices us humans have nothing to feel proud of at all
The industrial revolution in many gave rise to material greed
Of far more environmentaly aware people humanity is badly in need

Human induced Global Warming affects all forms of life
Pollution of the natural environment Worldwide is rife
What we do to our Earth Mother we do to our own selves happens to be true
And in the wrath of Nature we are receiving our due.
